With the unfolding COVID-19 situation we wanted to let you know what steps the NZNFS is taking to ensure our clients, our communities and our staff and their extended families stay healthy and well. We’re all in this together.
We have closed the Society HQ from today, Tuesday 24 March, until further notice. All of our staff have been advised to work remotely in their respective capacities. We have ensured that every one of them has been supported to do so. All non-essential travel is cancelled and face to face meetings will take place digitally, where possible.
We will continue to heed the advice of the government and implement the COVID-19 protocols as they emerge. We are working towards solutions that enable our work with our clients to continue within these guidelines.
While the majority of our people are working remotely, business as usual continues in as much as it can in these uncertain times. We have tested the resilience of our IT infrastructure, which enables all of our people to work from home with ease. Our priority is to minimise any disruption to our staff and clients. We are working together and alongside you as we navigate the scenarios that may be affecting business in this uncertain climate.
If you have any concerns or questions about your interactions with the Society during this time or would like to discuss any issues you are experiencing where you feel a conversation may be helpful, please reach out to your Society contacts. Otherwise our main lines are also still operating and you can reach us on +64 7 843 4497.
Please stay safe, take care and be kind to one another.
